Alice joined Dr Amy Meyer (New York) and Brandy Black in December 2024 – coming soon!

WWDMD, the biweekly show where we get into the mind of mental health clinicians. Have you ever wondered what clinicians and social workers are REALLY thinking and feeling as they help others navigate their lives? This podcast is all about learning: about the dynamics of a clinical case; the emotional journey of the clinician; and YOU. Dr. Meyers hosts guests with expertise in various areas of mental health as well as offering her expertise on a series on sibling abuse with some episodes dedicated to survivors stories. Come along for an insightful journey!

Alice Perle recently joined Dr Amy Meyer on the podcast What Would Dr. Meyers Do? alongside Brandy Black, co-founder of 5Waves, for an insightful conversation about sibling sexual abuse (SSA). This discussion explored disclosures and communication through two unique perspectives. The first perspective was from Alice, the adult daughter harmed by SSA in childhood. Brandy offered the second perspective. She is a mother navigating the discovery that her adult children had been involved in SSA during childhood. The episode will be available in April 2025. Check back for updates or subscribe to What Would Dr. Meyers Do? to stay informed on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
